Example
- 9:00 in UTC−5, meeting in UTC+1 → 15:00 in the UTC+1 zone (6-hour gap)
- 9:00 New York → Paris (Jul 15, auto DST) → 15:00 Paris (CEST)
- 10:00 Tokyo → Los Angeles (Jul 15, auto DST) → 18:00 previous day in Los Angeles (PDT)
Formula
Remote hour = local hour + (remote offset − local offset). You can enter plain UTC offsets (e.g. −5 for EST, +1 for CET) for a quick estimate. For accuracy across daylight-saving changes, choose the source and destination time zones plus a date instead — the tool then reads the real IANA rules and applies daylight saving automatically, so the answer stays correct in both winter and summer (and for southern-hemisphere zones that shift in the opposite half of the year). Adjust forward to find the next slot where the remote side is also inside 9–17 local business hours.
